Frequently asked questions

How do I send my watch in safely?
I’ll send you a simple safe-packing guide — a padded box and a little care is all it takes, with nothing special to buy. Post it by tracked post so you can follow it the whole way. For a high-value watch, get in touch first and I’ll advise on the safest way to send it.
What if I don’t want to go ahead after the quote?
No problem — the quote is free and there’s no obligation. If you decide not to proceed, I’ll post your watch straight back to you; you just cover the return postage.
How long does a repair take?
Simple jobs are quick; a full mechanical service typically takes a few weeks. I’ll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
Do you guarantee the work?
Yes — every repair is backed by a 12-month guarantee on the work carried out.
Can I drop my watch off in person?
There are no public walk-ins at the workshop, but you can drop off at one of my partner jewellers, or simply post it in.
